G321: Jelly Baby Activity

In class we were given a task of using jelly babies to create the openings of films from a vary of genres. This enabled us to explore what story lines and narratives could be used for the different genres. From creating these openings it let us evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the different genres and helped us decide what genre we would like to choose for our opening. The task let us think about timings, dialogues, credits and camera angles which will let us create a better storyboard and opening. It also let us think about what we actually needed to include in an opening to not make it a short film and not a closed narrative. We created a Western, Horror and Comedy which are linked from our individual blogs below.
